GiveMeROM respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This page explains how a copyright owner can ask us to remove material from givemerom.com.
1. What we host
GiveMeROM lists firmware, flash files, tools, drivers and related service files for mobile devices. Manufacturer names, logos and product names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the files.
2. How to send a takedown request
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorised to act for one, and you believe material on givemerom.com infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the subject "Copyright / DMCA notice" and include:
- Your full name, company (if any), postal address, phone number and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you say is being infringed.
- The exact address (URL) of each page or file on givemerom.com you want removed.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. What happens next
- We review every complete notice and may ask for more information or proof of ownership.
- When a notice is valid, we remove or disable access to the material, usually within a few working days.
- We may tell the person who added the material that it was removed.
4. Counter-notice
If material you provided was removed and you believe this was a mistake or that you have the right to use it, you may send a counter-notice to [email protected] with your contact details, the address of the removed material, the reason you believe the removal was a mistake, and your signature. We may restore the material if the complaining party does not take further action.
5. Repeat infringers
Accounts that repeatedly upload or share infringing material may be suspended or closed.
6. False claims
Knowingly sending a false or misleading notice or counter-notice is not allowed and may make you responsible for damages.
