This Privacy Policy explains what information GiveMeROM (givemerom.com) collects when you visit the website, download files, buy a package or a paid file, and how that information is used and protected.

By using GiveMeROM you agree to this Privacy Policy. Please also read our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.

1. Information we collect

When you visit or download as a visitor

Your IP address and a random visitor cookie, used to count the daily Free download limit and to stop abuse of Free downloads.
The files you download and when (download history), the file you asked for and whether the download started.
Your search words, used to improve search results. Search records are not linked to your name.

When you buy something or have an account

The email address you give at checkout. Your account is created with it after your first confirmed payment.
The details you enter in Complete Your Profile: your name, country and mobile number.
Your password, stored only as a one-way hash. We never see or store your real password.
Your packages, paid files, wallet balance and transactions, invoices and download history.
Your login sessions (the IP address and browser of each session) and the devices you use with a package. A device is recognised by a signed device cookie in your browser.
Download reports and file requests you send us, including any message you write.

Payments

Payments are made on the payment provider's own page. We do not receive or store your card number, UPI PIN, bank password or crypto wallet keys.
We keep the payment record the provider sends back (amount, status, provider reference and date) and the invoice, to deliver your purchase and for accounting.

Secure Download (Google Drive files)

For some Google Drive files you are asked to sign in with Google. We only ask Google for your email address (the "openid" and "email" permissions). We never get access to your Google Drive, contacts or other Google data.
A copy of the file is shared with that Gmail address only. The access is removed and the copy is deleted after 24 hours.
We keep the Gmail address linked to your account or visitor record, so the same Gmail is used next time and shared links are not misused.

2. Cookies

A session cookie keeps you logged in.
A device cookie identifies your browser for package device limits and Free download limits.
Short-lived security cookies protect the Google sign-in and checkout steps.

These cookies are needed for the website to work. We do not use advertising cookies. If a human-verification check (Cloudflare Turnstile) is switched on for Free downloads, Cloudflare may process technical data about your browser to tell people from bots.

3. How we use your information

To create and run your account, deliver packages and paid files, and apply download limits and device limits.
To process payments, issue invoices, add wallet credit and handle refunds.
To send you service emails: your temporary password, login codes, payment and package confirmations, invoices, package expiry reminders, file request updates and security notices.
To answer support messages, download reports and file requests.
To prevent fraud, account sharing, abuse of Free downloads and attacks on the website.
To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.

We do not sell your personal information. We send promotional emails only if this is offered separately, and every such email will let you stop receiving it.

Payment providers, to take your payment.
Google, when you use Secure Download (your Gmail address is given access to the copy).
Our email delivery provider, to send service emails.
Our hosting and security providers, who run the servers and protect the website.
Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.

5. How long we keep information

Login codes, download links and expired sessions: deleted about one day after they expire.
Search records: about 7 days.
Daily download counters: about 15 days.
Email sending records: 30 days.
Visitor records without an account: 30 days after the last visit.
Unpaid checkout attempts: at least 90 days.
Secure Download copies: deleted after 24 hours.
Purchases, invoices and wallet transactions: kept permanently, because accounting and tax rules require it.
Your account, profile and download history: kept while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account; records we must keep by law (such as invoices) are kept.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed, sensitive data such as email contents and payment settings is encrypted, download links work only once and expire in minutes, and access to the admin panel is restricted. No website is completely secure, so please use a strong password, keep your login codes private and never share your account.

7. Your choices and rights

You can see and update your profile in My Account.
You can ask for a copy of your personal information, a correction, or the deletion of your account by emailing [email protected] from your registered email address.
You can remove devices from your package in My Account (limits apply).
You can block cookies in your browser, but logging in and downloading will then not work.

8. Children

GiveMeROM is meant for mobile technicians and adults. It is not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will publish the new version on this page. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
